Based on our single-layer porous homogeneous membrane, which undergoes radiation and chemical grafting treatment, it offers significant advantages over conventional coated or cast membranes:


1. Stable structure and microstructure with minimal changes.


High strength and toughness, pressure resistance, minimal mechanical deformation.


Low thermal expansion and contraction, resistance to oxidation, aging, and embrittlement.


Resistant to chemical corrosion and dissolution, with a low swelling rate.


Low volume expansion upon wetting.


No possibility or risk of cracking, blistering, or shedding.


2. Consistent hydrophilicity and charge throughout, ensuring stability.


The grafted groups on the molecular chain are not easily detached or dissolved, maintaining a hydrophilic and positive charge over time.


The hydrophilicity and charge of the surface and core layers are essentially the same.


3. Excellent physical permeability of ions.


Thin thickness and straight, independent channels minimize the distance ions travel.


High porosity and numerous channels allow for a high number of ion passages.


Completely wetted pores and channels eliminate air entrapment, preventing ion congestion.


4. Excellent ionic electrochemical properties.


Low volume resistivity minimizes shielding and weakening of the electric field effect.


Target ions adsorbed on the membrane surface can be rapidly transferred in a hopping manner (absorption-desorption-absorption mode).


Under the same membrane area and operating conditions, the ion exchange rate is high and the quantity is high.


5. Safe airtightness and insulation


High porosity allows for high liquid absorption, rapid wetting, and excellent moisture retention at high temperatures.


A consistently intact water screen effectively blocks gas permeation and mixing on both sides.


Dendrite formation and growth are less likely to occur, preventing short circuits.
